I did mine all by hand with a block and some old towels; you might get better results with a buffer and such. Quote Too many projects, too little time... Used a powerball and buffed them with Rubbing compond to get any fine scratches the 2000 couldnt get. Then wax or you can put some kind of Clear coat on them. Wouldn't even worry about a clear coat, just polish. I just waxed mine. Heard of a neighbor using a Clear Laquer and it looked great. But I tried it on another set of lights I had and had to throw them away So yeah I guess i'd stay away from clear unless you know what your doing.
