i ahve a pioneer deh 2000mp head unit and a old kenwood 2channel amp. i hooked them to my subs and all it does is pulse in and out. no sound no anything just pulse in and out. i set the gain all the way down and all the way up and still nothing. any ideas???

they go to full excursion out then back in. it does it pretty slow.

amp powers on and evrything fine just dont send anything out. im 100% positive its something wrong in the siganl but idk what

i know positive form negitive. the wiring is right. its in the signal going to the amp. rcas are not the problem ive switched like 2 pairs

lol I'm not accusing you of not knowing.

it could be that the remote wire that you are using that is coming from the head unit does not have enough voltage going through it?

I'm thinking of everything ATM man.

Did you try a different rca output off the headunit like a front or rear? Just to test that its not the sub output channel.

Also is your subwoofer volume turned up on the headunit?

did the rca jacks in the amp come unsoldered or break the joints on the board?

Does the amp work fine in another enviorment(different vehicle, or bench testings)?

it only has one output i dont have a sub volume thouhg. no the jack never came unsoldered and yes the amp works in another car. thats why i think its a signal problem.
