Neo_frog
Aside from my little forming issue in the corner, give me some honest opinions on the doors. I'd like some feedback since it was my first completed fiberglass enclosure. Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? Neo_frog
your not selling the batts anymore? Nah. I don't have time to do any wild swapping so I'm just going to fill up the back with my Kinetiks. Maybe buy a few more if I have room. Need an install? Neo_frog
did you use a fiberglass cloth? i like matt more but that me Yeah, I accidentally overwrote a couple pictures of the sanding process, but I ended up with double layer cloth. Covered and shaped with dura-glass, then bondo for the final touches. Other than cutting the fleece just a hair short on the bottom I think it turned out ok. It's pretty damn strong. Enough for that sub. Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? zfrerichs
i like to use matt so i can get almost all of my shape from the glass and then just a little bondo to smooth things out. but it look good for your first time doing something that big. Torres
i expected some pukey lookin doors with the way you were talkin em down lol. from the pics they actually look pretty good. and suit the door pretty well. i'd just fix a few of those ripples tho
kentb
im not that good at glassin but from my experience, as much as possible get rid of the ripples while your stretching the fabric so that you don't have to do much filling to get it smooth.
