Hey if i was to go out and get some nos for my car (WET) 10lb bottle, what would be the chances of me messing it up..50 shot maybe, nothing to powerful..THANKS!!!

Let me first say that NOS doesn't belong on a stock car. Not because of how dangerous it is, but just because the compressions ratio is to high. There is a lot of mis information about NOS due to to many people knowing what it is and not a fraction of those people have ever messed with it.

The biggest misconseption about NOS is that it will destroy the motor. Let me clear the air by saying this is untrue.

There are 2 items that make NOS Dangerous

1) What kills the motor is giving it a shot of hp with a stock or higher compression ratio and not giving the extra pressure in the motor a place to escape (which is why most people in high hp ranges port the heads), resulting in the head gasket usually busting a leak. The same happens when you start pumping in LPG, Water Methane...etc.

2) Most People don't understand that NOS was designed to be used in a 1:1 gear ratio. So typically you inject a shot in 3/4 gear pending on the vehicle and then you allow your 4 or 5 gear to burn out the NOS.

I've seen a lot of people take off in 1st and then inject NOS in 2nd gear. Due to the gear ratio's what typically happens is that the motor over revs...causing severe damage. If the driver knows how to use the NOS it isn't so dangerous. But because the general public is not educated about how to use it, is why there are so many horror stories about it.

The only true downfall to NOS is the price to refill the bottle. For the cost, I'd rather pump in LPG, though it does burn hotter.
