what do you guys think about xenon headlights?

because i really love my low beam's since i switched to xenon and im thinking of buying a pair of high beam versions which have 1700lumens of output (dont know what that means)

i found them in my garage, BNIB too. i found the same models online for about $20-30 for two. highbeams are the same price about. my avatar has the xenon's

edit: how bright is 1000lumens? like in comparison to something else.

the box says "Xenon Filled". i have the 9006CB model's

for hid's, dont you need that little module that you have to install into your car before you have the headlights? and i also notice that hid's take a while to warm up while mine just turn on and get 100% right away.

HIDs need the ballasts.

What you have is actually what I want. When its time for new bulbs in my car, thats what I'm getting.

You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive.

i got xenons in my bmw. they r real bright, i like them. and when i turn my brights on its extrememly bright

1000k isn't that bright.. i think 4300k is considered the brightest "but you'll need a ballast" around 6000k is when things start turning blue

its 3500k, 1000lumens of brightness
