marquettefan247
What is the difference? Is there a difference in loudness? marquettefan247
well I was looking at amps and I realized that a 2 ohm gets more power to the sub than a four ohm. is that more unsafe Quote 1995 Ford Mustang 3.8l V6 5 Speed Plans: 2 12 inch dc Level 4s DC 2.0k Amp KCA 1/0 Power Amplifier Installation Kit 220 Amp Alt XS Power 12V D925 AGM Battery Stinger Volt Gauge Rockford Fosgate RCAs Box built from birch. c0smo kram3r
It only effects your wiring options. Whether or not you want to wire it down to a 2Ω stable amp or a 1Ω stable amp.
mrwigglezdj
example, 2 subs dual 2ohm, would give you .5ohm load or 2ohm 2 subs dual 4ohm would give you 1ohm and 4ohm load so you would need a amp that works with the ohm loads youre able to get from your subs Quote Americas loudest work van2006 iasca heavyweight bassboxing champion at 150.4 db with 60second average TL8 memphis PR15s,12 memphis PR6.5's coax,4 memphis PR 1inch tweets
mrafrica
yeah the only difference id say there is, is that if your only getting one or if your getting a certain amount of them so you can make differnt loads for differnt amps and power handling capibilities. Quote And far as the best connection ever....... get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together.
