Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone would know where I can find a 5-rib, 79.8 inch long serpentine belt? (or within half an inch of that might do)...the factory length is 5-rib 77.8 for a reference and autozone/advance auto both dont carry anything within 2 inches of what I need. Im going to look at Napa tomorrow/Monday, they might have a better/different selection on belts.

Anywhere you'd suggest to look? Thanks in advance.

Yea, thought theyd be the best bet...that belt may work but I doubt it :(...Id even be interested in a custom-made belt if that'd be the case but I dont think anyone does that.

you can always do what steve did with his. he cut off a rib to get his to work.

i found a 6 rib that 79.00" http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...mp;autoview=sku

heres a 79.75 but its 8 rib http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...+115+4294742251

and a 79.87 6 rib http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...+115+4294749022

like i said you'll have to cut off a rib or 3 to work, but just make sure you have the right size before you do.

Bobonit: that's the factory length :( that wont work, but thanks.

And yea, it looks like im gunna try it with a 6-rib belt and cut a rib off and see how well it works and if it'll hold up for a decent amount of time. Im just gunna keep the factory length one handy with some wrenches incase it gives out on me :(

Yea, sorry. That's the closest I could find on Goodyears website, the next closest size was a couple of inches off. Good luck with resizing the wider one. A nice fresh carpet blade should do it pretty good.
