Thanks guys :)

I live near Dayton, I'll probably be at slamology and the maxsonics show if you're going.

But yea, the subs arent really broken in yet and that 150 was with them seriously brand-new maybe 15 minutes of play time. And there's lots of work to do, im really shooting for a 152 @ 40Hz once it's done (without changing/adding equipment), we'll see.

And hondaonchrome, there are two vids up in the video section :)... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...t=0&start=0

^There are both vids in that thread

Roof = steel and fiberglass (u mad?)
(2) XS Power D3100's, (2) rhino batts, No battery upfront (for now, smh)
4 power+ 4 ground runs of 1/0-gauge to rear
"If its been done before...you're doing it wrong" : )

very nice man, you make it look like a piece of cake which im sure its not. i built a box inside the trunk of my old civic i had...it wasn't fun at all lol. seeing this makes me want to snatch up another 18 and wall my car. how much do you think you spent just on the materials? 200-250 or is that even close lol. anyways man great job ;)

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

Thanks :) Im very please with how it turned out and had a great time designing+making it.

The build actually didnt cost much at all for the actual enclosure...maybe 200ish including the resin, terminals, etc added in.

Im going to be laying a good amount of fiberglass on the outside of the enclosure in the near future as well for a little added strength...not that it needs it right now but next year I may be getting some bigger+badder woofers and throwing more than double the power to them :D

Once I step up the power I'll also have something up my sleeve with the battery bank that should turn out pretty nicely ;)

Pics as stuff happens :)

Outside ring of one mounting ring cut..

5.25" mounting ring done but broke my only 1/8 drill bit starting the next one :(, so tomorrow they'll be getting done..

I have the other pair of 6.5's in the car right now and they sound fantastic and keep up with the subs just off of the headunit...Im hoping to get the rear 2 pairs installed in the near future and playing and eventually get a buddy to make me some door pods to get 2 pairs up front as well (the front and back will both get a pair of both sizes)
