07sOnAtA sp.ed
I was looking for a batt to run in my trunk for the summer. As ya'll can see in my signature, i have a pm5100r upfront, and nothing in the back so far. my electrcial is holding up fine because bass boost is @ 0... and gain is like 1/2 up. but i wanna have it full tilt by summer. Im getting an alt after these batts, but i wanna make sure i get good batts. I would just go with the biggest batt i could fit back there, but b/c if room and money constraints, ill just go w/ what i need to run my amps efficiently so for a saz-1500, i was thinking b/t: PM d3400 http://mechman.com/store/product_info.php/...products_id/317 2x PM d925 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=43955 the group 31's batts b slaps yo mama is sellin http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=43707 i figured that b slap yo mama batts would probably be the best, but im alil weary about runinng two different brands of batts. um lmk what ya'll think. thanks also, if you have other suggestion lmk. i would like to get a PM D3100... but they are to expensive. unless i can get 1 used or an open box sale from mechman, i dont think thats an option. Derrick824
For a saz-1500d @ 1ohm you don't even need a group31 in the back but I do recommend getting the biggest you can. Keeps you from having to upgrade later. It's recommended to use an isolator between them when using different batteries. If the batteries do not rest identically you'll get transfer back and forth which could shorten their life. I'm no expert but it's what I've been told so I steer to the side of caution and don't do it.
