tdubslug Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Just bought a rockford bd1000 but i wasnt sure why there are more than one set of outputs for the speakers what that about and which set do i run my speakers to?
wierdguy75 Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 You can put it on either one, there both the exact same thing. It just makes it easier to run another sub if you want to.
tdubslug Posted April 27, 2009 Author Report Posted April 27, 2009 alright i got it hooked up during my lunch today. The amp is pushing 2 dual 4 ohm kicker solo baric L5s wired to 1ohm. The gain is about half way up and frequency is at like 45.....but if i turn the remote bass all the way up the subs make a terrible sound until i turn it down again. So is it a gain problem or something else...i turned the frequency knob down litteraly a hair, but then the subs dont even hit as hard as when i had them on a RF punch 550.2...anybody got some advice to try...i really want to push these speakers as hard as i can so any advice is greatly appreciated.
Boon Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Turn the frequency up, I assume you're talking about the low-pass filter? I'm tempted to say RTFM here... 10.x volts fo' life!
