Amp Ohmage Question

Had a serious ohmage mixup on my woofers, hence the extremely quiet power I mentioned. I bridged my dual 4's to 2 ohms per a DMM but one of them is holding at 1.9 steady at the amp. Is this safe?

Too many projects, too little time...

Yea thats fine. Most subs are off by about .1 or .2 ohms.

You'll be fine. With impedance rise you should be over that.

Impedance rise? What's that?

Ohms measured right at the amp terminals

VERY VERY basic explanation of impedance rise:

The ohm load will rise above 1.9. There is nothing you can do about that. The size of the box and countless other factors come into play.

You will be safe at that ohm load.
