On the head unit i have the settings at 10/15 subwoofer, 0 bass, 0 treble I can play it on 20-22 all day without it smelling bad. If i play it at 25 it will start to smell in like 3-4 minutes. whats going on??

Guest Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 amp is clipping, put volume to 25, sub level on full, and retune gains. (im assuming its a kenwood headunit since mine goes to 35 also and has a sub level control that goes up to +15)
