Makes me feel like I dont have the room for 3 18s being as this is 1.5" thick and id only have room for 3/4" + fiberglass and mat for strength. About the box, yeah bro it´s only 1.5" thick on the front, and the sides, it has a lot of weird and unconfortable angles that made the box even weaker, but we managed to fix that issue with fiberglass and dowels, after this box and the one i had in the swift using single 3/4" thickness with only doubling the subs baffle that hit a 151 @ 38 hz for almost 2 years without braking or anything, i honestly can tell you that i don´t worry anymore about box thickness, good bracing and fiberglass works AWESOME!!! 4 15´s FTMW man, i´m actually considering walling the explorer on a flat wall using 4 15´s instead of going with 4 18´s in a BP , this almera is just stupid loud with so many weak points it has, the amps, the electrical, the non matched motors, the port size and the windshield, but we felt in love of it right away hehe, glad you like it old friend I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
