ChevyBoy Posted March 1, 2007 Report Share Posted March 1, 2007 the reason you do that is to prevent burning the plexi otherwise it can melt very quickly. not necessarily. most people turn it around to leave a finer/smoother cut. yes it can melt it though. also depends on what size plexi you are using, and what you want to do with it.
