Boon Posted May 2, 2009 Report Share Posted May 2, 2009 Power supply is probably fucked. Check the resistance between the power and ground terminals (obviously you'll have to check on one side of one of the fuse holders), if it stays at 0 then you have bad FETs in the power supply. If you have the back off it, check the main power rail caps (there's 2? big ones). If the tops are really bulged or there's evidence that they've leaked that'll be what's caused your problem. It did put out some serious wattage but again that amp would overheat so bad youl burn your hand touchin it!
