One of the cylinders is misfiring and causing the car to sputter and stall out. Luckily I was only on the otherside of town when it happened. It still stalled out about 20 times on the way home though. It stalls when you try to accelerate from a stop but once you get going, it wont stall but still shakes. 207,000 miles and this is the first major engine problem its had, still original automatic transmission as well.

Luckily I work at Honda and get shit done for next to nothing. Take the mechanic to lunch or something and get him some beer and call it a day. Best friends dad is also a Honda master tech so its not the biggest deal in the world but it still sucks.

Im buying a 2000 civic Ex with 80k miles tomorrow too, has a slipping auto trans in it though. Its not real bad so it looks like ill be whipping that around for the time being haha. No beat FTL

i had a problem like that and it was actually an injector that didnt work so that mean i was only runing on 5 out of 6 cylinders.

Damn. I feel ya man. I just put a whole new engine in my Explorer back at Christmas. Downtime sucks, especially when it's in the middle of the competition season.
