HHR Ed
That sub will do well in both SPL and daily. I was doing 153s in a daily tuned box. Will do well in anything from 1.75 cubes for high tuned SPL, to 2.5 cubes for low tuned daily. Go with a port any where from 28 sq inches for daily to 60 sq inches for SPL at no longer than 14 inches and no shorter than 8 inches. The sub likes to play in the 35 - 50 hz range for peaks, but will go down to 20 hz if tuned low enough Quote Ed Lester ShowtimeSPL Host Showtime Electronics Video MarketingMy old Build Loghttp://www.stevemead...08/#entry511451http://www.youtube.com/showtimespl 5 time dB Drag Finalist Last ride 2007 HHR, current dB 153.5 and bass race 149.4 dB. 153.0 dB on music New Ride, 2008 HHR SS. HHR Ed
box i recomended is kinda on the small side but im not sure aboujt 3k on the daily on the tss This sub was built for 3K daily. 3 spiders, large gauge flat copper coil. Larger gauge than a DD99Z. Heavy duty paper cone. Of course any sub at that level of power will take a beating, but it did fine for me.
