punchman
well i have just been told that i will be getting a 86 honda prelude as my first car. i thought i will be getting my parents mpv and was planning to put 2 kicker L7's in a big box. but now my plans have changed. so i will just be my current system in the prelude. the trunk is weird and i dont think facing the subs to the rear would sound good. so i think facing the front would be good. what you guys think??? i dont know the measurements on the trunk space. so i wouldnt what size of box would fit on my next system. prolly have to stick to 10's again? 2 15" Kicker L7's + Hifonics BXI 2006
meade916
actually facing the rear will probably sound best for what your doing unless you plan on sealing the trunk off from the cabin and going forward. If you dont isolate the trunk from the cabin when aiming forward you will have major cancellation issues. Check it out for yourself. Put a box back there and aim it a few different directions. Aiming forward will sound like shit (unless done like above). So will aiming up towards the trunk lid. Sometimes aiming at the quarter panels sounds pretty good too but aiming back will be your best bet for now.
