Lookin for a strong 4ch amp for my next build, the numbers look good, and its hella cheap. Also, how are power acoustik's products? Only thing i ever heard was a badass little 10" woofer a buddy had in his s-10 extended cab pickup, and it hit pretty hard. woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port... fischy fisch Posted May 10, 2009 Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 there stuff is cheap as hell and i would tell you to stay away from them but there bamf amps are not that bad there not top but there pretty good only issue i had with mine was the rca out puts had magic blue smoke but owell (i had the bamf 5500 ) lol. but i haven't and i don't plan on it. plus i'd probably miss and hit her belly button or her ear or something. lol. The bamf is more going to be in my price range when i do this. I mean, the retail is only 200 and thats alot of power for so little money. MAG-nanimous Posted May 11, 2009 Report Share Posted May 11, 2009 I'm not trying to compete in any competitions. I currently have a Power Acoustik BAMF 1200/4 and 2001D in my setup. I have had these amps for over a year now installed under my false floor of my magnum with no fans for cooling whatsoever. I have no problems or complaints with these amps. They push my 3 12" kicker comps just fine. And yes, people will say kicker subs are junk too, but like I said I'm not trying to compete in any competition.
