To get all fancy technical, you could run it at 2 ohm. If you short 2 coils, put a resistor on 2 coils, or put a variable resistor on 2 coils, you could indeed run it at 2 ohms. But for sake of argument, we can run it at 1 or 4 ohm.

i honestly wouldnt worry about overpowering them. they will take 5000 a peice and laugh at you while doing it. they are my next setup. dual 15's and 2 unknown amps.
