If you have the room , they are screamers....You will need something to play up to 2-3k Htz. to fill the gap.. I'm not talking about the cheap as piezos'... Have you ever heard the mini horns from image dynamics with the ultra drivers????? cause i think i could cram those in just about anything Looking for a CRX to get back in the game. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

tacomabanga1986 Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 nah i ment to put he did a build for the car, all memphis mids n highs with i think image dynamic tweets, with mtx amps, and 2 jl w7 13.5's sealed, it sounded great, but those w7's dont get all that loud, but at low volume the lows hit like a hammer i unno if he took pics of this or not, it was back in 2005 i think, n i wasnt on smd or anything n didn't have a cam to take pics or i would and vids but it wouldn't do it any justice, the mids n highs was loud as hell, n the subs was loud but was more for sq than loudness, n the guy already wanted em, if it was mine n my buddys choice we was gunna put 2 9500 15's on a mc4kd to keep up with all that, or 4 8500 12's he did a system for a guy in a 93 camery with 4 mtx8500 15's on 2 1501ds n it was loud as shit lol, molded the spare tire area into a tertle shell kinda box with subs inverted, it was soundin evil but ya those tweets should work, n i cant wait to run these ported n see what they really do here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit

I guess i'll go ahead and get em comin. JL's have never been to loud i think alot of it is what box you put them in like any other sub... Back in the day i had two 10 inch w4d4's in a bandpass and it was louder than hell. of course back then i hadn't ever heard a real system so anything would have been loud...
