OBI
Im pretty sure its which system has the flattest freq. response on all freqs. at the db your playing at. Meaning if your subs are playing at 130db so are your mids, and highs.
jvillefinest
ehh kinda sorta...thats part of it. But there is also ear judging along with it. You have a Judge sit in your car and just listen. I have always hated the sound of a completely flat system. Neel
Sq and a flat system are two different things . There are a sooooo many things that go into an SQ car its freaking awesome. I have been competing in an SQ show every month this past year and I have learned alot. It has nothing to do with the SPL, its more spectral balance , tonal accuracy , imaging... here is a link to the rules http://www.floridaspl.com/iasca_rules/Sect...und%20Rules.pdf Edited May 22, 2009 by Neel Quote Too Much Stuff to list . Neel
I also compete in the install portion of the shows, its also really fun and a great way to clean up your install and strive for a very safe overall install. here is a link to the rules. http://www.floridaspl.com/iasca_rules/Sect...all%20Rules.pdf Quote Too Much Stuff to list .
