ChevyBoy Posted March 19, 2007 Author Report Posted March 19, 2007 ok so some where i lost pictures of my first layer of fg down. now i just layed down some balsa wood and some rope so stiffen up some of the corners/edges to where i can take it out and work on it more. so far so good. i want to try and get a layer of the woven roving that i bought before i trim it up and test fit it. hopefully that'll work out to be on wednesday. to make the resin a little thicker, i used http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/store...5/0/0?iorb=4764 to take up the little bit of gaps under the balsa wood since the floor isnt completely flat. i also used that to hold the rope in place. worked out pretty well. so far this is all ive done. one question though. whats the best/easiest way to secure the fiberglass bottom to the mdf ill be using for the sides/front?
