Amp In Protect After Short Time Playing

Recommended Posts

so i had a beat off comp on saturday and when i got home i found that my ground was loose so i tightened it. also i had it bridged to 2 ohms and didnt realize it and i have 4 ohm subs :/. so they were working then the next day it started going into protect after either a. turning it up to a certain point(18/33 volume) or sometimes as soon as it got a bassy part it would just go into protect.

just today i realized dimming and that is an issue but i hooked the amp up to the rml, grnd, and 12v and worked fine then i added rcas and cranked the signal. still fine. hooked up one sub and did the same thing and it still went in protect.

its a logic soundlab 1220.

i either need A. a second battery, or B. a new amp. i cant tell what the problem is

also i dont know if the power dipping could cause the amp to go in protect.
