your probley bumping the subs at too low of a frequency that the port is not tuned for IE playing 20 hz on a box maybe tuned for like 38-40 just an example thought i dont know what your box is tuned at,

what about 20-25 on a box tuned to 30? My subs arent getting much power (only 450 each) and i play a few songs that get LOW but they never get stinky, well, rarely do, like, almost never.

woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked

You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port...

If your subs get stinky in 30 seconds you're doing something wronnnnnng.

I was exaggerating a little. Im talkin like 2 and a half min of straight slammin... Any how i re matched my gain and tried some different adjustments and it seems to be better. They still get warm after awhile of beating on them but i dont smell nothing :good:

Exactly, coils get hot when playing below tuning, if the box was tuned lower, the problem would disappear to a point ( after finding the right tuning) But then the sub needs to be able to play that frequency well

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

yeah see your box is tuned at 30 so it wouldnet be that bad since your box is tuned kind of low thats why its not getting stinky if not ever.

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

Well i pretty much got things adjusted so that my subs dont heat up to the point that i can smell them, But now one of them seems to always get warm and the other does not. Does anyone know why this could be happening? This ish is starting to get frustrating!
