i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

got started on the amp rack today after working 10 hrs....and got cut off by the rain. its going to sit 3 inches high with all wires ran underneath it. more pics in the morning

amp rack is done.

just have to make a trim piece for the port to attatch to the top piece. the other 18 is scheduled to be here wednesday :)
