EricR Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 You probably could but you might have to lose the AC Compressor in order for it to fit. and i see that he lives in dallas. anyone in texas that doesn't have air conditioning in their car is insane lol. im just going to have to settle for a single 250 i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

Yes pics would help greatly, just from my experience most cars are packed as tight as can be in the engine compartment, so you cant exactly fit alot of stuff under there. Also to the OP what are you planning on running, that would also help everyone to determine if you need multiple alts. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ swervinmylac Posted June 10, 2009 Author Report Posted June 10, 2009 If you do a really big system you don't need AC, it will move enough air! the system is only gonna be around 3000 watts. i just really dislike the idea of having to run more batteries that may have to be replaced when i could just use two alts and call it a day. Could you post a under the hood pic? That would really help. wont be able to get them posted until sometime tomorrow.
sully Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 mechman has a thread right now that he is willing to develop dual alt kits for cars/trucks if they have room and he has access to a similar vehicle in his area. check it out in his section 2003 Ford F-150 Reg Cab layin body on 26's 2003 Tahoe 3/5 drop on 26's with a 408cid Supercharged engine. 2011 Camaro 2SS 2005 VW GTI Stage II ECU, CAI, 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC, lowered 2" on some plastidipped 18's 2003 Hayabusa lowered, stretched, cams, nitrous and custom paint
CaptainzPlanetz Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 wont be able to get them posted until sometime tomorrow. With 3000 rms, you should be good with a good 250-300 amp alt and probably 2 good batterys in the trunk, and 1/0 wire all around. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
