my vote is for alpine type r coax's (spr-17c) and/or comps(spr-17s). the coax's run for 89.97 and the comps run for 139.?? at 6ave.com( authorized dealer fyi...check alpines site)

I've got the full set of 6.5"s Love them. Just need to get them on a nice 4 channel now.

thanks for the replies i just got my new subs which are the dc lvl 3 15's and my mids and highs are drowned out. i may go with 2 sets of the rsd's and upgrade amps

I'm running a set of rsd components right now, don't have a single bad thing to say about them :good:

head unit - Panasonic MXE CQ-C7403U

amp - Cerwin-Vega EXL 1200D

subs - (x2) Cerwin Vega V-MAX 15.4

box - 5.8 ^3 at 32hz

do the rsds get loud with the right amount of power going to them?

They sound great..but for as far as getting loud...there are others that get loud compared to them. I love them for SQ, but they leave some to be desired for the "loud" department.

The woofers might suck all the air out your lungs
