littleitaly1990 Posted June 12, 2009 Report Share Posted June 12, 2009 Personally with 2 BTL's I would never run polyfill with as much as you need to push those 18's might make a little heat yea polyfill is for sealed applications, as it dampens the sound of the rear wave (the goal is to completely separate front and rear wave in sealed boxes). Smaller box typically means more power. 4k watts is a lot, even for the BTL, so they needed a smaller box. But it is risky for a non expert box builder to put them in that small of an enclosure.
