tequila Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 hey guys so ive been sitting here wondering about a box design for my 2 punch hx2's. problem is, ive never built a box for 2 woofers! how much volume would these subs need? about 2cuft? im gonna port the box and im also wondering if i need multiple ports or just one bigger port? do the subs need their seperate chamber or can they function properly together in one box? Probably stupid questions but i wanna get this right! Im using the RE encl calculator and WinISD to help me and ive come up with a box: 4,6cuft with one 4" wide slot port tuned at 36hz. Any good? Guest Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 RF manuals state that you need 2cuft per woofer. minimum is 1.5 and max is 4.0 for one woofer. so i think you would be happy with that box
