Memphis & Treo are made by the same company, they are not the same subs they are very different designs & different parts just made at the same place FYI. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

SoundWave Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 [Treo is made by Treo only, they make no other brands and are made by no others. Memphis is nothing close to Treo. Nothing wrong with Memphis. I have a Treo SSI 12 in my yukon, no mods to the truck at all, and a Zapco amp that is blown, I am doin over 140s all day every day with nothing tuned. I run the sub till it stinks, shut it off cold and it still plays music like the first day I opened it up. Not many subs do that. They are a great small manufacturer to deal with on a personal level also. The SSI series is far from there competition level subs, but it does what it does. Quote
