lanman31337 Posted June 15, 2009 Report Share Posted June 15, 2009 Grab your multimeter, set it to ohms. Pos on one side, neg on the other, shouldn't matter which way. Should read ungodly low numbers. If you get anything more than an ohm or higher, it's a bad fuse. Try swapping the fuse regardless and try the system, fuses are cheap. It could have been enough to hurt the fuse, but not enough to totally break the metal inside to trip it. Heres the story So I hooked up my buddys amp and stuff with 1 12 a while back and he went to local shop and got a little box made with 2 12's a few months after that.. Stupid local shop moved the ground.. Didn't scrap paint and didn't even screw it down all the way so it was wobbleing... I like them.. They sound good but sucks no shallows will get low unless you have enough space for ported... Then you wouldnt need shallow lol... Also running 500rms to each sub and still taking it like a champ.. Keeps together hella good, might even turn amp up a bit more...
