I was wondering if I should upgrade to the big 3 even though I have a stock alternator and stock battery. I'm not pushing anything big in my car either. How much more improvement will the big 3 do for me? Also, should I upgrade from my old ass reused 8gauge with some KnuKoncepts 4gauge?

In all, will doing the big 3 and adding 4gauge make a helluva difference in to my system? Oh, one more thing, what's the difference between this 4 gauge KnuKonceptz kit

and this 4 gauge KnuKonceptz kit

different fuses

Well yeah. I should have been more specific. What I meant to say was, is there really any difference from the 4 gauge provided compared to the other? Just wondering because you know, one is like $13 cheaper.

cheaper is copper clad aluminum and the more expensive is pure copper.

the more expensive is also way more flexible.

you won't tell a difference unless you're putting alot of power through it.

what kind of power, setup do you have?

you'll be fine with the cheaper.

i think the flex (more expensive) looks alot better and it is alot easier to run through your car IMO though.

Cool. I think I'm going to get that $39.99 kit. Next I need some 0/1 for THE BIG 3.

Just ordered the 4 Gauge FLEKS and and extra 5' of the blue and 5' of the black power fleks wire. Will be here in a few days. Do you think it'll be alright to upgrade the big 3 with just 4 gauge or should I just do it right and do it with 0/1 gauge? How much, in feet, do you think i need? I have an 01 Impala.

I would agree any upgrade in wiring to get power from source to amp will make a difference
