babyjoker Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 i have a box for two twelves running of 250 watts each, the box is 5 ft^3, 3 after port displacement. the port is 4x14.5x36 tuned to 36 hz. now its not as loud as i expected it and it sounds funny, doesnt hit hard at all, is the port too big? or do i need more power?any suggestions? 1999 Eclipse N/T 12'' Fi BTL Gp3000d PM D3100

andym85 Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 @36" long i get a tuning of 27hz...which is pretty damn low, too low almost for daily...i would make the port 19-20"long to get around 32hz...or you can make it 13-14" long to get your tuning of 36hz i likes me some audio stuff...
