Darksideofsound Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 ok, I replaced my stock batt with a D31A yellow top optima, but i am being told that a battery cannot discharge the amount of power i need as fast as i will need it.... i am running 2600wrms, and i was going to just get another D31A, but should i get a kinetik batt for my amp? They are there to supply power until the alternator gets fully excited. I would try a higher discharge battery as those are only 75Ah iirc. Then look in to alternators if it doesn't fix your problem.
