ok, I replaced my stock batt with a D31A yellow top optima, but i am being told that a battery cannot discharge the amount of power i need as fast as i will need it....

i am running 2600wrms, and i was going to just get another D31A, but should i get a kinetik batt for my amp?

Yes. Either that or a Powermaster. Those G34 Optima batteries are almost completely worthless in car audio.

Need an install? Hit me up.

my optima is a D31A....meant for car audio....

I totally missed the model number..

You can't rely solely on one (or two) batteries sometimes. They are there to supply power until the alternator gets fully excited. I would try a higher discharge battery as those are only 75Ah iirc. Then look in to alternators if it doesn't fix your problem. Hard to read/type on blackberry. :D
