Darksideofsound Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 ok, I replaced my stock batt with a D31A yellow top optima, but i am being told that a battery cannot discharge the amount of power i need as fast as i will need it.... i am running 2600wrms, and i was going to just get another D31A, but should i get a kinetik batt for my amp? You can't rely solely on one (or two) batteries sometimes. They are there to supply power until the alternator gets fully excited. I would try a higher discharge battery as those are only 75Ah iirc.
