Colin - STAPUFT Posted June 22, 2009 Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 I wasn't there for the run but I did see the VW up close on Friday before the show. It is the real deal, that's for sure. Windows are all thick plexi, everything is concrete, there are bolts for the doors, and the interior is as smooth as a baby's butt. I would believe the 165.7 though- the guys at the booth beside the VW said it was good for 165-170... so 165.7- sure. I do vouch for it having just the 2 8"s an the 15K soundstream. And that is all. Not sure but he was saying that he was the loudest 8's in the united states. Oh and I believe him. Here is a pic of the guy and his vehicle. He is the one with the long gray hair.
