Rodrigom210 Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 I have 2 15's Kicker CVR with a 750 Kicker Amp but whenever i raise the bass knob more then half way every once in a while the woofers stop working.... any one know why?
Team_DC-Derrick Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 does your amp turn off? what does your electrical system look like? bad ground? have you checked all your wiring? are your gains set right? The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... I just realized Steve has reach Voldemort status, over on JP's site he is the one who will not be named....."We dont speak his name over here, fearing it will destroy us" LOL not even in hush tones
Lowroll Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 id check the ohm loads. the amp might be clipping and going into protect mode. had a similar problem with 2 15's on a 1500.1 at full gain the amp would cut out after about 30 seconds, turned down the input voltage to the amp and its been fine everyday since. Current System: Pioneer 6900 HU Front Stage: (for now) Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs Bass: 4 Soundstream RW-12's 2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's single chamber box, 2.65 cubes.
