OrenB217
I am purchasing a Sundown SAZ 2000 amp, but the initial plan was to power it on a 15" Btl. The problem now is that I am going to literally drain whatever is in my bank just for this setup. Still looking for a job now (had one, but it was a seasonal job), but even when I get one, I dont feel as If I should drain my bank account right now cuz I am going to college next year and I feel like I should always have money in there for whatever reason. I could not miss out on this pre order deal of my favorite amp company (sundown) Anyways, with the Sundown SAZ 2000, if I power it on 2 Kicker cvr 12s (800 rms/1600 max), or 2 Kicker cvr 15s (1000 rms/2000 max) but turn the gain very low, will it still mess up anything? Doing this would save me around $900 now, so I can buy a btl or whatever comes up (and all the electrical upgrades) once I have more money (prolly next spring). My friend said I should be fine, but just to double check before I start thinking about it. Guest
just turn the gains down till you have 1600rms of output, nothing bad will happen as long as you tune the gain correctly with a multimeter
07sOnAtA sp.ed
no, i think you should be fine, but the cvrs are not 800 rms.... they are 400 rms 800peak. pm me if interested about a possible alternative for the Fi BTL 15 CURRENTLY UNDER RE-CONSTRUCTION 2008 Hyundai Sonata Team T3 Audio Team Deadly Hertz Team SMD (Street Motivated Devastation)

OrenB217
well will it be a good idea to just wire it to 2 or 4 ohms....idk the wattage rating(s), but hopefully it will sound much cleaner and louder Black 1998 Nissan Maxima1st Setup: 145.8 DB Outlaw @37 HZ On Music Out Of Trunk2nd Setup: 147.8 DB @42 HZ On Music Out The TrunkCurrent Trunk Build:153.8 DB Outlaw @ 49 HZ Out the trunk (150.8 DB Sealed)Team gg.
