And if you're going to nit pick at the fact they shouldnt pass on the right, the semi should have been in the right lane since thats the lane designated for semi trucks on I-69. I practice personal injury law here in AZ so I see shit like this all the time but it generally turns out for the worst so they come to me. Like I said in my first post i am glad to see you okay. Hopefully you will think twice next time. I am not 100 percent sure but I am pretty sure every state has a law to only pass on the left and just because the police wont cite you for it doesn't mean that it is legal. (2) Upon a roadway with unobstructed pavement of sufficient width for two (2) or more lanes of vehicles moving lawfully in the direction being traveled by the overtaking vehicle. (B ) A person who drives a vehicle may overtake and pass another vehicle upon the right only under conditions that permit overtaking upon the right in safety. Yes so what he did was illegal with the diagram he drew he had to drive off the the roadway for him to get on to the on ramp.
