LordArcane
depens what ohm you running on the amp Edit: what ohm coils and how you going to wire them to the amp? Edited June 30, 2009 by LordArcane
~digital~bass~
You dont use a DMM to set a certain wattage you set the voltage. Quote Car Audio + Bodyboarding/Longboarding = LIFE!!!

Two 12" lvl 4 xl D2 to a 1ohm final load. Wired separately with 2 positive and 2 negative going to the amp You dont use a DMM to set a certain wattage you set the voltage. Exactly but in order to do so I was wondering if I need to set it to 38.73 (1500RMS) or 54.77 (3000RMS) on a 1ohm final load. 3/4 Volume with 50hz tone etc.. LordArcane
sorry to tell you this but you not going to get those subs to 1ohm on one amp with 2 d2 on one amp you got .5 ohm or 2ohm so your best bet would be to use the 2ohm one unless your sure your amp can handle .5 stable
LordArcane
but if you want both subs to get there 1500 rms you would want the amp giving 3000 at ?ohms then each sub will get 1500

~digital~bass~
Even if you can get your voltage spot on to your calculations does not mean it will be actually doing that power. In order to find out what your actually getting you need to clamp your amps. Quote Car Audio + Bodyboarding/Longboarding = LIFE!!!
