Austin175 Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 ok i know there is a thread about this but i have a side post battery not a top post so i wanted to ask on how i would upgrade my big 3 with a side post battery kia spectra 4 door HU-a kenwood kdc-692x optima red top under the hood ( kinetik battery or powermaster in the back ) Iraggi 260amp H/O alternator 1 set of knu kandy 1/0 guage wiring kit ( 2 more sets coming ) front speakers - back speakers - 2 12" lv 4's with lvl 5 softparts ( going to be 4 in near future) Sundown 3500d( going to be 2 sometime ) i have boughten from - Bass14(smd), ddbump(caraudioclassifieds)

may03LT Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 it look liked just a bolt with the screw on top thats what I'm using for my side post batt, you'll just need to terminate the wires with eyelets hook up your factory wiring under the big bolt, and run the additional wires off the piggyback bolt heres my underhood battery negative terminal, factory wires underneath the big bolt with the batt to engine block and batt to chassis leads off the piggyback bolt same thing for positive, factory wiring under the big bolt, battery to alt post and runs to back batteries off the piggyback
