sorry guys l stop coming back on here because noone seem to look at this build so l gave up , but l guess l can give an update and throw a couple of pics up,

ok so l have now plans of 4 DD M3a amps one per 9918. l did abit of researching and lve heard of people making 3,800 rms at 13.8v @ 1ohm this is true or not lm quiet happy with anything near that,

so next l have 4 9918's 3 of them where dual 0.5 ohm (what l wanted) and l have one which was dual 1 ohm so l went off and brought a dual 0.5 ohm recone kit directly from digital designs, here are the some of the pics of the recone (sorry about the pic quality).

ok first of all l have to clean the basket as much as l can and make it as flat as l can but rough where the spiders get glued to ,so the spider and the basket have a strong bond

then l did a test fit of the coil to see if it all goes in well

then next we needed to make up shims for the coil so it would inline perfectly even around the pole

then test fit before glue

l then cut the top side of the coil down to the right size (scarey)

then after we applied the glue we put a weight done on the spiders so they had a good bond

then after it was time to slide the big kevlar cone on and apply glue around the coil and on the cone and surround

then we put as many clamps as we could all around the surround to make it as good as we could

then l put the 8" carbon dust cap on in the center of the cone and applied glue all the way around as neat as l could

then l put a weight on that so again it had a strong bond

then the finish .... what yous think for my first time recone'ing ??

I wish you would have not stopped the updates. I love the build and I loved the truck you used to have too. The recone looks good keep up the good work. I want to see more pics of the truck.

l stopped getting interestes ... anyway,

if l go 2 m4a's itll be 2 ohm at each amp, l want to run 1 ohm to make full power,
