We did my system about a year ago. A few months ago a leak started in my car out of nowhere so i gutted out the system, trunk and back seats to find the leak. It rained a lot and the leak never came back. My coworker wanted to do a new box design in my car so I figured why not. Kept the same subs and the amp rack the same. We decided to do it ported through the rear deck. Here are the construction pics. It should be done around the end of next week. (I'm in the middle of moving so i got other priorities before my wham wham)

because of the location of the port and the box, my factory dvd rom had to be relocated and the brackets cut. i'm moving it to the lower left 1/4 panel of the trunk

i also had to lose my torsion bars in the trunk so a broom is my temporary trunk prop, we're going to be adding gas struts to it

etching accord into 3/4" plexi and 2 oznium white cathodes with light it up when the trunk is opened (wired to trunk light)

I like where your going with this. Nice little touch mounting the subwoofer trim rings on the back side of the subs to frame the magnets..I like the little stuff..I'll be tuned in, I love the trunk builds..hopefully soon I'll get mad enough to tear mine apart and do it the way I want to.

i'm on v6performance.net and there was a huge group buy. i got everything for 2,200 where the whole kit for front & rear would've costed close to 6k or so

got 111k+ on it now. i just baby it thats why. still needs body work though. thats prob gonna be the last thing i do to it before major engine work
