BumpinLow Posted September 18, 2006 Report Share Posted September 18, 2006 I plan on covering my dash because the insert I purchased to accomodate my headunit was at one point matching my interior and now it's not. I'm going to use suede and see if I can get it on so that it will still clip back in. You may want to try first, but I plan on buying some cheap felt that is about the same thickness as the suede so that I don't spend 8 bucks a yard for nothing. NOW would i have to strip the old stuff already on the dash off? and then apply the fiberglass? Strip everything off first, then lay like 2-3 layers and soak it in resin...Sand it down and use some formula 40 spread over it. Start sanding lol.
