how much power will a saz2000 do at 1.4 ohm?

going to order either 2 saz2000's or 2 saz3000's this week.

the amps will be seeing 1.4 ohm each (dual .7 coils on lvl5's)

my electrical consists of 190a alt and about 340ah of genesis battery so i,m a little concerned about that- fitting a bigger alt isnt goint to happen the car is crap :censored:

not sure if the 2000's are going to do enough at 1.4 though?

the 2000's could work. i would wire the lvl 5's in parallel/series coming up with .7 as a final load which would probably be right about 1 ohm after rise. then strap both 2000's at 1 ohm and you would at least get 4500-5000. just make sure you get a few more batteries cause strapping at 1 ohm means each amp will be seeing .5

ya, big 3, good starter battery, 2-3 secondary batterys, depends if there big enough, good 1/0 cable, its possable but try to keep ur electrical up to somewhat of a par to help voltage drop or magic smoke will show

2 saz 3000's both running at 1.4 ohm each will be not as harsh on the electrical as running the saz2000's at .5 ohm

i think i,m right in thinking the sq would be better too? - i tried my usamps de3000 at .5ohm and it sounded shit compared to where it is now at 2 ohm.

with my current system i,m running just under 2k of bass and 700rms of mids and highs and i,m dropping to 13.5v

where do you think i,ll be at with 2 saz3000's ?

going to have 8 hawker genesis batts (very popular in the uk) which are 42ah each so i,ll have 336ah of battery power, the 190a alt, 2 runs of 0awg down the car and and earth from each of the batts to chassis , tb3.

i also have the ability to stick the whole battery bank on a charger during the week so they are topped up but i dont know if thats gonna make much difference.

I know of a few big systems in the uk , for example one has 12k and just a 220a alt- runs fine he does have to keep an eye on it but still hits 155db, theres a guy with 13k of sundowns on 4 lvl5 18's and he has a 120a alt and his is ok (does need to keep an eye)

but then when i look to the states theres people with 3k and 300a alts. so obviously that worries me as really i konw and if i could i,d be sticking 2 300a units in there but it aint gonna happen

I can't tell you about the 2000's just yet cause I won't have mine until sometime this week when they come in. I will tell you about the 1500's and you can get an idea of how the 2000's will act since the 1500's are very similar. I have 2 1500's with each of them wired at .5 ohms. They rise up to 1.7 ohms on a burp and I'm making exactly 1747 watts out of each amp. That's 247 watts over the rated power and it's .7 ohms above the impedence that it's rated to do 1500 watts at. So you can imagine how powerful the 2000's will be at even close to 2 ohms.
