edog
I have decided not to do the 8-cvr 15's.Instead i am going with 4-level 4 xl 18's or 2- level 5 18's.I want to score musically high on the meter and be able to rule the parking lots if need be!(lol)I have 2-mmats 3500.5 putting out 2700 watts a piece rusty says go with 4-xl 18's if I have the room(2001 Suburban).I am not second guessing Rusty I just want and like the input from the people on this forum(and my wife says this is it for subwoofer purchases).I have 2-200 amp alternators,2-runs of knukoncepts 0-gauge wire from each alt. 4-batteries(2 for each amp).I am welcoming all input because I am calling Rusty in about a week to order. matt402
4 4xl 18s, u have plenty of room. :hairtrick:
swervinburban
I would go with the 4 xl's if I had the room, but if space was limited I would choose the level 5's. I have a nissan pick up where space is limited so I went with a par of the best 15's I could to maybe geta edge on vehicles with greater space capabilities, but if I had more space I would of went with more cone area. So if you have the space go for the most cone area you can afford Quote Under construction soon to be: 2 DD Z9518's 8 lunar L1500's (500rms each) Secondskin Dampner pro 250a Mechman rhino alt 4 runs of 2/0 (installed) 4 batteries (installed) 6-5 1/4's, 2-6 1/2's, 2-4in all ma audio (installed)
