bombout800
why would i go with a box so small? So more power can be applied? I don't really want to go over 1500 if i don't have to 2000 at most but around 1500. So could i use a box at 2.5 or 2.75 with that much power? I have people saying 3 and some saying 2-3 cubic feet. What should i do? Quote 03 350Z
EricM9104
For more cone control so you don't launch the cone 20' out of the motor. Boon
For more cone control so you don't launch the cone 20' out of the motor. It's more so you don't launch the cone 20' INTO the motor which makes the cone slam into the spider landing 2.5 cubes would be ok on 1500-2000w. They have very stiff suspension. Sp33dyG
For more cone control so you don't launch the cone 20' out of the motor. but seriously anywhere between 2.25-2.5cu.ft. would be perfect for that power range that ur wanting (1.5-2k) anything over 2.5cu.ft. IMO is to big for 1 12" Quote the only person i wouldnt let build my box would be Ray. bombout800
ok exactly what i needed to know i had a 2512 with around 600-800w in a 2.75 and it seemed to have to much space. So i think with a bigger motor a little smaller space, stiffer suspension, and the right port area and tuning it should be great! Thanks guys for your advice.
