CASZ71 Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 Ok so I've been running my system's power wire to the aux spot on the fuse relay box on my truck for a while now and i was going to do the big 3 upgrade but then I thought about it and i would have to run 0ga to my fuse relay too.. Would it be ok for me to run 0ga to the fuse relay also? would it burn anything up? or should i even be running my power wire to there?? theres really no room on the positive battery terminal.. thats why ive had it to the fuse relay.. ive been told i would have more power goin to the amp if i run it straight off the batt.. but ive done it and my capacitor shows no difference.. 2000 GMC sierra 1500 ext cab KMC XD Spy series rims Front doors Fosgate punch 6 1/2's stock tweets Rear doors Fosgate power 4x6's Probox 10 and box under rear seat Rockford fosgate R-500 Prime series amp (537 rms) 4 gauge wiring

DC POWER

enemyofsilence Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 i have never had to work on a fuse relay... i just do the normal big 3. batt to chasis, engine to chasis, and alt to batt...i havent seen anyone add wire to the fuse relay for the big 3...but thats just me. Team Bass-Hz

CASZ71 Posted July 17, 2009 Author Report Posted July 17, 2009 I could run the power wire to my battery but then I would have to reroute the wire.. buy more wire to do the big 3.. and buy and fuse and fuse holder :censored: .. so i was first gana try to make it work this way bc I have alot of wire (maybe 10 or 11 extra feet) with the setup now.. Ive got the amp right behind the drivers seat so its only about 5 ft to the relay..
