smokeumtires
I have a question... Mostly for whomever does their doors... Not just you vic. Why dont you guys put it on the very inside of the door? Like behind the speaker? I would think if any resonating would take place THAT would be the spot....And it would block out all that unwanted road noise? Just a thought.... Thats where I would focus on,Other than that looks good!

Thats where I would focus on,Other than that looks good! Well any road noise would still have to pass through there but doing both the inside and outside part would be awesome! Maybe when I make some money I will do that and take some before and after videos of the sound difference Quote My build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...8920&st=100 http://www.youtube.com/Bulletinjection

Maybe when I make some money I will do that and take some before and after videos of the sound difference i think the trouble with doing the inside is simple the difficulty of putting it on inside the door Quote AlphaDamp Sound Deadening CDL Mat - The best Vibration Damper Ever! 99vic
I have a question... Mostly for whomever does their doors... I would think if any resonating would take place THAT would be the spot....And it would block out all that unwanted road noise? Just a thought.... Thats where I would focus on,Other than that looks good! i have almost no road noise in my truck.i have flowmaster exhaust with 3" pipes and 31s that are noisy and you can still barley hear it inside. and i did put it in the inner part.not a ton but i put it right where the mid is. and a couple other parts. Looks good vic, just wondering the same as above. When I did my isntall I did put some on the very inside of the door, where I could reach. thanks and as i mentioned above, i have no serious flex in my doors as well as almost no road noise so i didnt feel the need to put a lot on the inside, so i focused more on the parts that i do have problems with. its like buying new tires when the ones you have are brand new. im not familiar with others vehicles but durangos have pretty thick doors. im not sure if others have noticed but with the 30+ different vehicles i have owned i have noticed. you can knock on any panel on my style durango and tell its strong. 99vic
Makes sense. I think I went above and beyond when I put it on my doors, but oh well, should help my front stage sound good......I hope. if i had 2 doors i would of did the same. but 2 sheets on 1 door isn't much. if it needs it. ill have to get more. my plan is to see if this is better than the other stuff that i have. (which it already seems to be) im going to tear out the other stuff i run and use all second skin.
